Giving Suede is a sienna-colored, medium-weight crepe-back suede fabric ideal for constructing jackets, sheath dresses, straight skirts, and coordinating bags. Anytime you have a reversible fabric, you immediately have more creative options: suede jacket with crepe lapel, cuffs, and welt pocket; suede dress with crepe side panels; suede skirt with crepe vest. Heads up - the stretch runs lengthwise down the fabric, so lay your pattern out across the grain, allowing the stretch to wrap around your body.
